Please sign in to see more.
Hi, my name is Glenna Ross Hopkin wife to John Barry Hopkin who became curious of his ancestors after seeing my family tree. The Hopkin Tree use to be included in mine but decided to separate it. I Transferred the messages from the guest book for his side of the family.

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO SIGN THE GUEST BOOK!

I wish to thank everyone who has helped me in gathering information. A big Thank You from the family in Wales and to Hazel from Cardiff for the Information, Pictures, and Certificates were much appreciated. Vera being 98 yrs at the time I received the pictures could not comprehend how we could do this. She turns 100 this year! (2013) and she lived to 101 yrs.

I am still trying hard to gather more information, stories and pictures, if anyone can help on any branch of the family tree it would be very much appreciated. Please just send the information to me via email at hopkinmg@outlook.com and I will update.

Barry's Mom Vera May MacDonald Fleming her biological mother was Lucy Maud Vansicklen, this last name has various spelling, Van Sickelen, Van Sicklen, Van Sicklin, Van Siclin, Vansickelen, Vansicklen. Vera was born to Howard McDonald and Lucy Maud Vansicklen and lived with them up until she was about 3 yrs old then adopted to William Fleming and Helen (Nellie) McKenzie.
I have not gone past Vera's Great Grandparents on the Fleming side since they are really not blood relatives therefore concentrating on the McDonalds and Vansicklen Families.

I have sourced lots of information but what is not sourced please do your own homework as I include information I find and keep working on it until I can include the source.

If any errors are noticed please email me!

Thank You!

Thank You and hope you Enjoy discovering your roots!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
